CPP51122 after CPP41419: what does the diploma add?
Compare agency-management study with your existing training, then check units, experience, costs and your intended state pathway.
What does CPP51122 add after CPP41419?
If you have CPP41419, compare the diploma with the agency responsibilities you want to take on. CPP51122 focuses on managing compliance, ethics, teams, trust-account systems, workplace safety, operational finances and business planning. It is not a substitute for checking the training and experience required for your intended licence.
Does the diploma replace earlier training?
No automatic replacement or credit is established. Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory describe different combinations of earlier real estate subjects and diploma study. Compare your transcript by unit code, then ask the provider to distinguish credit transfer from recognition of prior learning (RPL).

Which units will you study?
Both award options contain 12 units: seven core units and five electives. For Agency Management, choose at least three Group B electives; up to two may come from Group A or another current Diploma or Advanced Diploma Training Package qualification, without duplicate outcomes. The Strata option uses all five Group A electives.
The seven core units are listed below. Ask for the provider’s exact elective list and check it against your intended role and licensing route.
- CPPREP5001 — Manage compliance in the property industry
- CPPREP5002 — Establish and monitor property industry trust account management practices
- CPPREP5003 — Manage ethical practice in the property industry
- CPPREP5004 — Manage a safe workplace in the property industry
- CPPREP5005 — Manage teams in the property industry
- CPPREP5006 — Manage operational finances in the property industry
- CPPREP5007 — Develop a strategic business plan in the property industry

Do you need CPP41419 to enrol?
The national qualification sets no entry requirements. This does not remove a provider’s admission checks or the earlier subjects and experience a regulator may require.
How long will your study take?
No fixed national completion time is established by the qualification record. Ask for teaching time, independent study, assessment milestones, assessor access and the course access end date separately. Credit or RPL may change your plan, but an outcome or faster finish is not guaranteed.
For CPPREP5007, the local assessment source allows a workplace or simulated environment with agency information and resources. Check the assessment access required for your selected units rather than assuming a universal placement-hour requirement.
How should you compare costs?
Use the same proposed unit and assessment plan for each quote. Ask for tuition, assessment, RPL, extensions, resources, refund terms and funding conditions in writing. An advertised amount is not a confirmed all-inclusive total, and a deposit, core-only option or RPL assessment is not automatically comparable with a full course.
- Compare CPP51122 course costs without hidden assumptions
- Compare provider evidence and each advertised fee basis
What if you already hold CPP51119?
CPP51122 supersedes CPP51119 and is not equivalent to that qualification. Qualification mapping and a regulator’s acceptance of an older award are separate questions.
What should you do next?
- Write down your intended agency or strata role and jurisdiction.
- Gather your award, transcript, licence conditions and experience evidence.
- Ask which learning, licensing and experience gaps remain.
- Get a written unit plan, assessment timetable and itemised quote before choosing a provider.
